A bit about me.....Sarah Cain
Hi, I’m Sarah. A former gallery art coordinator, nature, wildlife, books, art, history and literature enthusiast and now jewellery maker and artist. I studied Textiles and Fashion at Liverpool John Moores University, which laid the foundation for my creative journey. After volunteering and later working in art galleries, I discovered my love for creating mixed-media pieces that blend colour and texture.
Today, I channel that passion into designing unique, nature-inspired jewellery. Working with metal clay allows me to combine silver with natural semi-precious stones, bringing to life designs that celebrate wildlife, landscapes, the moon, stars, and the sea. Every piece I create is hand-signed with a running hare, and larger pieces bear my hallmark.

I love working with recycled silver and copper, often incorporating semi-precious stones and found materials such as sea pottery and sea glass, treasures I collect during my trips to the coast. I also use FSC-certified sustainable wood and sea glass to craft framed artwork and hanging decorations. The sea glass is particularly special, transformed into charming, characterful birds. Prioritizing recycled and sustainable materials is at the heart of my work.
You can find my creations in shops and galleries in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Northamptonshire, as well as in my online shop, where I also accept commissions. I regularly share updates, event details, and new pieces on Instagram and Facebook.
